Jon interviewed by Yahoo!
Published by Jon December 14th, 2006 in Web, JavaScript, Yahoo, YUII had the privilege of speaking with Eric Miraglia of Yahoo! earlier this week, and they’ve just posted the interview on the Yahoo! User Interface Blog. Eric works with the Presentation Platform Engineering team, which produces the Most Excellent(tm) YUI Library and Design Pattern Library. We use YUI extensively throughout the Thinkature application and web site, and I have only nice things to say about it (and I’ll say them in a future post). I also have to say that I’m totally flattered to be included in the ranks of people interviewed by the YUI team, a list comprised of many of the rock stars of modern web development.

Congratulations, I was just visiting the YUI site to start learning things and was so proud to see you two have already made the walk of fame… I had no idea how much of the front-end is done entirely in YUI, it really shows that truly user-first interfaces are possible (with enough “ambition”).

Great interview on YUI blog. Thinkature is really becoming a fully featured virtual whiteboard. As you know we were all impressed with the idea from the beginning.
I’d love to see some of your user’s use cases posted on your blog. It is always cool to see how people use the stuff we have built.
